FedEx Express began a class of 12 pilot new hires on September 12, 2011. Seven of these new hires are going to the ANC domicile as MD-11 First Officers. Four are headed to CGN as B757 First Officers, and one is going to HKG as an Airbus First Officer. This class of pilots came from a variety of backgrounds. We have pilots joining us from the USAF, USN, ANG, Express Jet, Omni, and American Eagle.
The junior seniority number, or the infamous "Caboose" is now 4564 on the updated Master Seniority List.
Membership Committee Members FO Marc Campbell, FO Sooz Corej, and FO Mark Stracener gave a "Welcome Aboard" Brief on behalf of FDX ALPA and the pilots of FedEx Express. Following the presentation, a New Hire Social was held and members from the MEC and other committees came to meet our newest pilots.
