Call to Order
The quarterly meeting of Local Council 7 was called to
order at the Germantown Center, Germantown, Tenn., on October 19, 2011. The
presiding officer was Captain Chris Baker, Council 7 chairman. A quorum was

Council Vice Chairman Tony Hauserman presented information
on the potential threats caused by the Super Committee of congress to change the
laws regarding 415(c) regulations that could affect retirement plans.
General discussion held on:

Potential 415(c) regulatory changes.
·
The current scheduling survey.
·
Current negotiations of Sections 8 and 24.
·
Whether to extend our current contract for
another year or pull the “relief valve” and return to Section 6 negotiations.
