Voting Results From Febuary Local Council Meeting

February 15, 2012

The results of the vote at the local council meeting of February 15 are as follows:

1.      Consideration of recall for Block 1 Representative Chris Baker

a.      In favor of the recall:           104

b.      Against the recall:    44

2.      Consideration of recall for Block 4 Representative Tony Hauserman

a.      In favor of the recall:           90

b.      Against the recall:    41

Once ALPA National certifies the vote, it will open an electronic ballot for the actual recall vote. All members of Local Council 7 (Blocks 1, 4, and 8) will be eligible to vote. We expect the ballot to open sometime next week and it will remain open for at least 15 days. A majority of the votes cast will carry the decision.

You will receive more information on the voting procedures from ALPA National once the vote is certified.
