Due to ICAO security requirements for inbound international arrivals abroad; U.S. pilots ARE NOT allowed KCM access to the sterile area, for PERSONAL INTERNATIONAL USA outbound travel. A pilot departing the US, for an international destination, in personal travel status MUST use regular screening checkpoints, just as passengers. This means you will be subject to liquid and gel restrictions if and when in civilian attire. Again this applies to PERSONAL international U.S. outbound travel only. Deviating into trip position is not personal travel. Jumpseating into trip position, as your option, is NOT personal travel. In those instances, just as any U.S. pilot operating an international departure, you may still use KCM.
