Commuting and the FARs - May 7, 2012

There is no language in the new FAR 117 restricting commuting.   There is a requirement to report to work Fit for Duty, as there is in the current 121 regulations. That being said, you should be mindful of the fact that records of commuting may be accessible to the company under certain circumstances.
