T IND_pilotroom2.pnghanks to your generous donations, we were able to help raise more than $50,000 in order to sponsor a Pilots for Kids/Airplane themed hospital room at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. The dedication and grand opening for the new room will be held on Friday, May 18th. All pilots are invited and spouses and children are welcome. If you would like to attend, please plan to meet in the lobby of the hospital (2001 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis) for a reception beginning at 1100. After a couple of very brief presentations during the reception, everyone will proceed to the room for the dedication, ribbon cutting and tour.
If you are planning on attending the event, or have any questions, please contact IND Pilots for Kids coordinator Captain Dan Ferracciolo at Dan.Ferracciolo@alpa.org.
DEDICATION AND GRAND OPENING THIS FRIDAY
I f you bump into Captain Dan Ferracciolo, please be sure to thank him for the enormous amount of hard work he put in to making the Pilots for Kids/Airplane themed hospital room at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis a reality. While you are at it, please pat yourself on the back for once again stepping up with your generous donations for this great cause. I can’t imagine what these families go through, but knowing that we had an impact in some small way is very gratifying. Words cannot tell you how proud I am of Dan for coming up with this idea and you for helping to provide the financial support to make it happen.
If you are in the IND area Friday morning at 1100, please stop by for the dedication ceremony.

FEDEX ST. JUDE CLASSIC PILOTS CAR BUILD
pr_2018carbuild.png
O ur annual fundraising effort has begun for this year’s St. Jude Pilots Car Build For The Kids! Because of our fundraising efforts in the past two car builds, the FedEx Pilots have now raised over $175,000 in donations for the kids in treatment at St. Jude. Isn’t that incredible? I want to thank the 60 + volunteers who have donated their time to help with the construction of the last two Cobra-Kit builds—and I want to thank those who have helped us along the way with the project by making a donation to St. Jude in the name of the FedEx Pilots. $175,000 goes a long way towards helping St. Jude raise the over $2,000,000/day that is needed to meet their operating expenses.
Thanks to a dedicated group of FedEx Pilots,
This year’s car has already been built! ( continue reading)
